So there I was checking my traffic stats and I discover the the name of a blog I'd never heard before. I surfed on over to see what their article was about and I discovered that the article of mine they'd linked to, they had used something called "Zemanta". I was curious and went to check it out. And boy was I blown away. Zemanta works with just about every browser and platform out there, and is almost seamless. I will write my post first and then I'll click on the Add Zemanta button, and it will find relevant pictures, video, and articles based on what I've written. It will also suggest links, and even key words.
Now there is one small downside, at least to the way that I use Zemanta but it is easily surmountable. Every time I select a new picture it replaces any previous Zemanta based one. But that is easily managed. I just cut the html code and paste into notepad, I keep doing that until I've selected all the pictures or video links I want and then I just cut and paste back in.
Thanks to Zemanta I've cut the time it takes me to generate a post in half and my posts look a lot better. Also a nice feature is that you can have it take info from blogs you follow, your own blog articles, and people you follow on Twitter in addition to checking the web. And the result is very slick and professional looking.
If you want to take your blogging to the next level give Zemanta a closer look.
Keep The Faith My Brothers And Sisters!
(Note: I was not asked to and have received absolutely nothing from the folks in charge of Zemanta for writing this article.)

zemanta, vp products
I tried it out, it's a little bit... messy. Probably because I'm working on a 9 inch screen atm so I'll give it a shot :P
Thanks for the tip though!
Igzebedze, you're very welcome. I will try the d&d re:pics. One thing that Apples comment made me think of though, it would be great if it were possible to reposition the Z bar if it's obscuring something you're trying to look at.
Apples, thanks for the comment. I have a slightly wider screen and it sometimes is a little clunky especially at first, but I've found that compared to some stuff I've tried in the past it's got one of the lowest learning curves I've encountered. And this is coming from a person who is not really super computer savvy.
